From the Featherduster

Thanksgiving! Can you believe it? It is here. And we have ever so much to be thankful for. (I know that is not a proper sentence grammatically but just bear with the thought).

Most importantly we are thankful that our God put into action the plan for our salvation.

We are thankful for those who have gone on before us. Their hopes and aspirations were handed down to us to follow or discard.

We are thankful for amazingly talented people and for those who are rock solid in their support.

Life is just a jumble of wonderful moments and horrific moments. It isn’t in just those precious moments when we hear a newborn baby cry, or as a choir sing in tune together as a unit, or attain some remarkable (NFR, Olympic, London Symphony) feat… that we hear God’s heart beat. Sometimes, when horrific things happen, we hear it, too. When our arms are outstretched toward him in terrible remorse or fear or inconsolable grief. If we listen – we can hear it.

And yes. I am most thankful for that.
